On August 29th, READY'S ROCKET surged ahead of recent stakes winner Extra Exclusive to win at Ellis Park under jockey Lyndie Wade.  Since being claimed on May 17th, he has won 3 races with a third and a fifth from 5 starts for trainer Tim Glyshaw.

Three-pete!  Three wins in a row for Mimicry Partnership's GRAND TRAVERSE.  The partnership not only owns Woody, but the bred and raised him.  This was Tim's first horse to win back to back to back races with.  So congrats all around to everyone involved.

  


July     11 starts - 2w- 0p - 2s     36% in the money

GRAND TRAVERSE, also known as Woody, rattled off back to back wins.  He dominanted on July 19 at Ellis Park with Victor Lebron as his pilot. He is owned by Mimicry Partnership.

On July 17th, GEESKA owned by Keith Plaisance got back into the winner's circle.  Ellis Park's leading rider, Victor Lebron, was abaord for her 16 length blowout.

On June 10th, after a small vacation, Loosen Up Partnership's  UNREACHABLE STAR galloped home a winner under Indiana Down's leading rider Orlando Mojica. READY'S ROCKET owned by R J Thoroughbreds rocketed home by 9¾ lengths on June 20th on a sloppy main track under Calvin Borel. READY'S ROCKET won back to back races on short rest.  He won again on June 29 for RJ Thoroughbreds with Jamie Theriot replacing injured Calvin Borel. Tim got his first training double on June 29th.  GRAND TRAVERSE owned by Mimicry Partnership took the last race with Julien Leparoux in the irons.

On June 28th, our stable lost a dear friend and valued employees; one of our exercise riders Hoagy Brown.  Hoagy worked for us a short time, but had been a true friend for many years.  He will be missed.


 May     8 starts - 1w - 0p - 1s     25% in the money

CORRINE won on May 23rd for Hebel Equine at Churchill Downs. She sat closer to the pace under Robby Albarado and came home 6 lengths in front.  She gave Tim his first Churchill Downs victory.


April     8 starts - 2w - 0p - 1s     37.5% in the money

25% winners

April started of with a bang.  Batesdame ran 5th at Turfway Park on the 2nd and El Salsero won 1st time out for owners R J Thoroughbreds later on that same day.  He was their first horse with Glyshaw. Leading rider Victor Lebron was board El Salsero for the win. Holiday Cruise cruised home in front on the 16th for owner Keith Plaisance.  That was both Keith and Tim's 1st win at Keeneland Race Course.  Robby Albarado guided her home.

March     4 starts - 0w - 0p - 1s     25% in the money

March was a slow month as far as entries go.  Glyshaw only started 4 horses.  With the Fair Grounds meet ending, alot of races didn't fill.  Out of the 4 horses that ran, Broken Music ran 3rd on March 1st. 


February     9 starts - 3w - 0p - 1s     44.4% in the money

Owner Keith Plaisance's 3 year old son of Whywhywhy, Tensas Why Gin, won back to back in the month of February.  He won on the 10th with jockey Robby Albarado up (by 4 lengths) and then with Julien Leparoux up on the 28th (by 13¾ lengths).  Owner Don Nolan's homebred filly Batesdame won on the 21st with Lonnie Meche up.  Corrine, owned by Hebel Equine, ran another third. This time she ran at Delta Downs with pilot Don Simington.  Another recent claim by Plaisance,a 3 year old filly named Geeska, jumped up the ladder to run a huge 4th in an allowance race on the 22nd.

January     8 starts - 2w - 1p - 1s     50% in the money

25% winners

Active in the claim box, owner Keith Plaisance and trainer Tim Glyshaw got their picture taken on January 13th with recent claim Chief Export.  They had a strong second with another new claimer on the rise, Supervision, on the 18th.  Plaisance also had a win with homered Broken Music on January 17th.  Robby Albarado was aboard both winners.  Hebel Equine's filly Corrine picked up another check on the 7th.  The homebred rallied off the pace to run third under Corey Lanerie.  Glyshaw and Plaisance also had two 4th place finishes this month with two Louisiana Breds, Holy Kamoli and Tensas Why Gin.

2007

January     10 starts - 1w - 4p - 1s     60% in the money

Trainer Tim Glyshaw's stable started the year off with a win.  First And Away, with Mathieu Adam aboard, crossed the finish line in front for owner Lloyd Stahl on the 5th.  She came back to finish 3rd for $30,000 non winners of 2 races lifetime on the 20th.  Michael Walts' maiden homebred by Military named Hautain ran second twice on January 10th and 26th.  Rodney Prescott was up for both races.  On the 27th, Dash Goff's Tahlequah won but was disqualified for bumping at the wire.  He was placed second by order of the stewards.  Glyshaw's stable might be small, but the horses are running very consistant.    


February     7 starts - 2 wins - 0p - 3s     71% in the money

Tahlequah came back and he meant business.  He drew off breaking his maiden by 4 lengths on February 8th.  Orlando Mojica was up for owner Dash Goff.  He quickly came back to run third on the 18th and would have won again if not for the bad break.  Dash Goff won another race with the mare Ruby's Prize on February 25th with Rodney Prescott aboard.  Sun Spell picked up a check on the 22nd by running 3rd.  She stretched out for a mile for the first time.   


March    10 starts - 0 wins - 1p - 3s    40% in the money

March was a bit slow for Tim, although he did start his first horse in a stakes race.  Ruby's Prize ran in the Queen Stakes at Turfway.  She didn't win, but tried her hardest and now she is off to the breeding shed to meet with Breeders Cup Champ Silver Train.  Sun Spell ran a second and a third in 2 starts and Tahlequah and Hautain both took home third place money. 


April     7 starts - 2 wins - 1p - 0s     43% in the money

Sun Spell rattled off two straight wins at River Downs for owner W.J. Chamblin with Mathieu Adam aboard.  She won an allowance race and for open claiming $25,000.  Tahlequah continued to be consistant by running second on the 19th.

Tahlequah and Unreachable Star both won at Indiana Downs for Tim in the month of May. Mathieu Adam was aboard both horses and both horses drew away from the competition.  Tahlequan won by a little over 4 lengths and Star won by almost 7.   


June    4 starts - 2 wins - 2p - 0s    100% in the money 50% winners

Unreachable Star continued to triumph against Indiana Bred company.  On Friday the 13th, he won an allowance race and on the 30th he ran a game 2nd.  Both races were at Indiana Downs for Loosen Up Stables.  Tahlequah also ran a second and came home a winner in the month of June.  His 2nd was at Churchill Downs on the 1st and his win came at River Downs on the 16th, which was also Natalie's Birthday.


 July    4 starts - 0 wins - 1p - 0s    25% in the money

On July 13th, Unreachable Star tried his game against open company and ran a resepctable 5th.  Tahlequah was claimed from owner Dash Goff on the 20th.  P. Bass made his deput on the 26th finishing a strong 2nd. 


August    6 starts - 1 wins - 1p - 0s    30% in the money

August was all about P. Bass.  The good looking homebred son of Stormy Atlantic bearly got beat a nose for the win on the 10th.  He came back and won with authority on the 26th demolishing the field by a widening 6 3/4 lengths.   Owner  / Breeder W.J. Chamblin raced his mother, Crafty Getaway.

September    8 starts - 1 wins - 2p - 0s    37.5% in the money

Hautain, owned by Walts David Stable, ran twice in September collecting checks both times.  He won on the 9th and was beaten by a nose on the 29th.  Turfway Park's leading rider Dylan Williams was aboard both trips.  P Bass was beaten less than a length and a half in the Fitz Dixon, Jr. Memorial Stakes at Presque Isle Downs.  Unreachable Star ran second on the 15th at Hoosier Park for Loosen Up Stables.

October    8 starts - 2 wins - 1p - 0s    37.5% in the money  25% Winners

The gray and green silks shared by Hebel Equine and Loosen Up Partners made it to the winners circle twice this month.  Once for Corrine on the 28th and once for Unreachable Star on the 25.  Mathieu Adam was aboard both horses.  Sun Spell was beaten by half and length on the 12th.  She was claimed that day as well. 


November   8 starts - 0 wins - 2p - 1s    37.5% in the money

Corrine came from out of the clouds on the 9th to run a huge third in an allowance race at Hoosier Park.  Mid-month the stable made an 11 hour journey south to the great city of New Orleans, home of the Fair Grounds, the nation's third oldest race track.  Holy Kamoli got nipped at the wire on the 23rd for local owner Keith Plaisance and Corrine made another long run on the 29th. Both fillies finished second in photos.
